Helen Moroz
Member of Governance and Nominating Committee, Finance and Audit Committee
Helen Moroz is a Board member of CommunitiCare Health, Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee and a member of the Finance and Audit Committee. Helen was previously a Board member of The Four Villages Community Health Centre and Vice-Chair of its Governance and Finance committees.
Helen believes in CommunitiCare’s mission to provide access to a full range of community healthcare and support services to keep clients mentally and physically well. She has always had a passion for improving the health and well-being of community members and has been fortunate to volunteer and work in a variety of roles that support this mission. She is CommunitiCare’s Board Liaison with the Alliance for Healthier Communities, the Vice-Chair of Volunteer Toronto and the Chair of its By-Law and Policy Review Committee.
Helen has an extensive background in public policy, research and stakeholder relations. In her various roles with the Ontario Public Service, she managed the successful delivery of legislation, regulations, policies, programs, services and resources, resulting in award-winning initiatives in health and education.
As Chief Policy Officer with Digital^Shift, and a consultant with Strategy and Innovation and the Internal Consulting Group (Global), Helen works with clients to develop innovative strategic research, policy, government and stakeholder relations plans and supports clients through their business and digital transformation.
Helen and her family have been residents of Bloor West Village since 2000. She is of Ukrainian descent and has close ties to the Ukrainian community in Toronto.
Helen holds a Ph.D. in Political Studies from Queen’s University.
