Rachel Conway

Rachel Conway is the inaugural Chair of the CommunitiCare Health Board of Directors.   Rachel was previously the Vice-Chair of the Board of Four Villages Community Health Centre (Four Villages) and Chair of their Governance Committee.  She was also a member of the Joint Advisory Committee, through the amalgamation process of Four Villages, Storefront Humber Inc. and Regeneration Community Services.

Rachel is a lawyer by profession and was a partner in the business law group at one of Canada’s largest law firms, where she specialized in commercial transactions.  After deciding to leave private practice, Rachel looked forward to a higher degree of engagement with her local community.  Rachel’s work with the Board of Four Villages, and now with CommunitiCare Health, provides her the opportunity to utilize her skills in an organization that seeks to meaningfully improve the lives of those in her community.  She is passionate about CommunitiCare Health’s mission and vision and believes the organization is uniquely positioned to advocate for, and be a leader in, community-based health care.

Rachel has lived in the Bloor West Village area for the past 18 years with her husband and two daughters.  She has been an active volunteer in her community and is excited for the future of CommunitiCare!
