Ibi Olabode

Ibi Olabode is a member of the Communiticare Health Board of Directors and holds positions on the Finance and Audit Committee and Governance and Nominating Committee.
Ibi is a lawyer with more than 23 years of varied legal experience. After almost a decade in private practice with two midsized full-service law firms representing clients in high conflict and complex litigation matters, Ibi joined a national self-regulatory professional association where she served as general legal counsel overseeing all aspects of the organization’s legal needs from HR and labour related issues to privacy and business-related issues to prosecuting professional negligence.
Since 2018, Ibi has presided over Provincial and Federal administrative tribunal proceedings where she uses her legal knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve claims as an independent decision-maker.
A long-time proponent of community engagement, Ibi regularly volunteers her time to organizations that service the communities she belongs to.
Ibi and her family are long time residents of the Lambton/Babypoint neighbourhood, where they have resided since 2001.
