Lisa Dess
Chair of Quality Committee and Member of Governance and Nominating Committee
Lisa has been a member of the Communiticare Health Board since 2021 and holds positions as Chair of the Quality Committee and member of the Governance and Nominating Committee.
Lisa is a Physiotherapist and holds a Master’s in health administration. She is a member of College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, the College of Physiotherapists of Australia and is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
She has extensive experience as a healthcare executive, providing strategic leadership while maintaining core values of excellence and respect. She has successfully organized and led several partnerships and collaborations across the healthcare sector and has worked as a Physiotherapist in Canada and Australia focusing on providing rehabilitative care to seniors and adults to achieve goals, improve functional ability and promote independence.
She is passionate about quality improvement, compassionate client centred care and making her community a better place.
She lives within the Communiticare Health catchment with her family.
